Liner note
A refreshingly inviting and honest showcase of melodies and lyrics that embraces your senses quite naturally from the moment the song takes flight. "Queen" by Gus Dapperton is a special and subtly rebellious soundscape that takes aim at the current way things are ran and at those behind the machine — the patriarchy that never seems to have its fill. It reminds us all of the power and strength of women while also letting men know that there really are no rules to follow when it comes to what defines them — the expectations others have are just that, their own, not yours.
