If I Get High

There's something about "If I Get High" by Nothing But Thieves that is quite powerful as it speaks to each listener in a very honest and raw fashion. It's a track that does not shy away from its humanity, instead, it embraces its fragile inspiration, connecting with us in a deeper fashion. It knows we are broken and sometimes life can hit us in ways that while invisible to eye, can be pretty visible to the soul. Musically the song is a masterpiece in my opinion, but it carries more weight now due to the unfortunate passing of actor RJ MItte, who stars in the music video. I will not build on why, but I invite you listen and if you feel that there's something more than a song a here — maybe a reflection of you, then please seek help, because you deserve it and because life is sure to have beautiful things in store for you.
