East of Eden

A wonderfully raw and uniquely beautiful showcase of human nature, one that does not dwell solely on the black and white, but finds it's charm within the gray areas. It offers acting above what we are sometimes used to nowadays, for it manages to make us feel — we find anger, sadness, joy, discomfort, lust, frustration, redemption and so much more waiting within each of the episodes. Florence Pugh is as always, absolutely brilliant and brings Cathy into our world in a way that is magnetic, raw and uniquely hateful, yet also sad, broken, lost and hers. The cast as a whole is on point, the world creation is beautiful and the camera work matches the spirit of the story — all of this together, along with other ingredients, gives life to must-see visual experience.
